The replaceable activated carbon filters in this comfortable mask protect against exposure to indoor and outdoor pollutants and allergens. They effectively capture exhaust and diesel fumes, fragrances, household chemicals, formaldehyde, cigarette smoke, smog and industrial air pollution, new car smells, printer ink and toner, germs and the recycled air on aeroplanes. Airborne particulates such as dustmite and pet allergen, pollen, mould spores and acrylic dust are also efficiently filtered out. A big benefit is that you can talk and be heard whilst wearing this mask.

The mask itself has a lightweight double outer layer of porous dimpled "honeycomb" polyester which holds the coal-based activated carbon filter. There are adjustable, non-latex ear loops and invisible nose bar. The mask is effective for 20-40 hours wear, dependent on the substances being filtered and the sensitivity of the user.

Discard carbon filter when breathing becomes difficult or the smell or taste of pollutants comes through. Handwash outer mask in lukewarm water.

Tester's Tip 1:If you have no problem breathing through two filters you can wear one filter inside another to enhance the absoption of perfume and diesel fumes.

I purchased the honeycomb mask for my trip around the world and I want you to know that it saved my life in India and Vietnam. Delhi is the most polluted city on earth and travelling in a non a/c bus for 12 hours to Dharamsala in the Hamalayas required that I wear the mask the whole trip, or I am sure I would have been hospitalised with acute asthma. The mask blocked all fumes, dust and pollution and it actually smelled sweet and clean inside the mask. When I would lift the mask off to drink water, I practically gagged on the filthy air. I also used it extensively in Hanoi, Vietnam, which sadly, is becoming a mecca of motorbike pollution. I wanted to let you know how well the honeycomb mask is working. I've used it to dust and vacuum. In the past those tasks would make me congested or even gave me a sinus infection within 24 hours. I've been using it for the past 2 weeks and I have had no problems. It is comfortable, cool and doesn't fog up my glasses! It's the first mask that allows me to wear my glasses. Thanks!

I've been virtually homebound for many years with Multiple chemical Sensitivities, chronic sinusitis and chronic bronchitis. Since I started using my Honeycomb Mask I've been able to get out a lot more.The carbon filter does a good job of keeping pollen, chemicals, dust and mold spores from entering my sinuses and lungs (which can lead to severe reactions). Because of decreased lung capacity I always felt like I was suffocating in all the masks I used in the past (except for the paper ones - but they don't work well and smell badly). The Honeycomb mask has no odor and works quite well, without causing shortness of breath. I use it when driving (to avoid exhaust fumes) and anytime I'm outdoors during hayfever season. I also use it in any group situation when there is perfume in the air. As long as I'm wearing this mask I have no significant negative reactions. It's been a great blessing to have found this wonderful multi-purpose mask
