Eco-Balls are natural, environmentally friendly, efficient and cost-effective. Just place three Eco-Balls in your washing machine instead of detergent. Together they produce ionized oxygen that activates the water molecules naturally and allows them to penetrate deep into clothing fibres to lift dirt away.

Tester's Tip 1: Since we introduced Eco-Balls® some cheaper wash balls have come on to the market. Please be warned that several of them contain SLS or ALS (Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate) , both of which can can cause allergic skin reactions. We also found that the cheaper balls will only last for about 150 washes. Eco-Balls® remain our recommended Best Buy as they use non-phosphate Sodium Alpha Olefin Sulfonate (AOS), a very mild foaming agent used in shampoo and shower gels. 

Tester's Tip 2: There is now a larger (135ml) version of the Eco:stain remover that comes with the Ecoballs® available to buy separately. It is ‘eco’ yet effective and is made with bio-degradable ingredients. Eco:stain is not tested on animals, does not contain phosphates and is fragrance free.

I was persuaded by my wife to try these "EcoBalls" out when money ran short and I needed washing powder, softener and the rest of the paraphernalia that goes with washing the clothes. I am amazed how much quicker the washing now is. Where there is heavy staining (food down clothes and real heavy dirt) I need to use aprewash soak or stain remover, but this is still far cheaper than washing powder, softener etc. I have just refilled the first of the 2 Balls we had in our kit with the additional pack supplied for top-up. This bit is tricky as you end up with pellets everywhere if you are not careful. I am a converted house husband, I will be using more of these types of products in the future...

This is a great idea. I had stopped using my ecoballs because I thought they were becoming less effective. Once refilled I realised how much nicer the clothes felt and smelt using ecoballs rather than my normal washing powder. I'm a bit picky about my whites and still use washing powder for these, but for coloured clothes I much prefer using the ecoballs.

These things work! I have a top loader and set it to do a longer wash at a warm temperature but cancel before the rinse cycle. The laundry comes out clean and smelling nice. I have to use the stain ermover on some things (lasagne out of tablecloths etc) and sometimes use eco bleach on white sheets but for a general mixed load don't need to use anything but the ecoballs. Brilliant!

I've been using these for a couple of years now and am still absolutely amazed at this product. They wash brilliantly without loading your clothes with nasty bleaching detergents and my dark/coloured clothes don't fade. They're also extremely cost-efficient!

Eco balls and Dryer balls! We tried, we liked, they work and we'll continue using them. Very good products! The washing machine was loaded with 'whites' and the 3 Eco Balls placed on top of the clothes. The quick cyccle took 30 minutes, since you wash at a lower temperature and require less rinse cycles because there are no chemicals to rinse out. With the Dryer Balls again we found the results to be good..
