Maintaining relative humidity at 50% is easier said than done as the level goes up and down as we breathe, shower, do the laundry, boil a kettle or even when the weather changes. But the Banamite 009 Dehumidifer & Air Purifier has a unique ‘Set-& Forget™’ feature which reads the temperature and level of humidity in your home every thirty minutes, every day, and automatically adjusts the performance so that you don't have to be constantly changing the controls. This means energy efficiency too and running costs as little as a 25W bulb.

You will be amazed at how much moisture this efficient machine will extract from the atmosphere in your home or office. The Banamite 009 removes up to 18 litres of moisture a day and a special Boost Control means you can override the fan speed and humidistat so your dehumidifier works at maximum performance for a set period of time. This is perfect for drying laundry, after shampooing a carpet or on especially damp days.

The Banamite 009 has a special triple filtration system that continuously traps pollen, spores and allergens as the air is drawn into the dehumidifier. A primary filter traps larger particles, an activated charcoal filter removes smoke and smells and an individually tested electrostatic filter attracts and retains microscopic dustmite and pet allergen particles down to 0.3microns. Clean, purified air is then released back into the room. Each Banamite 009 comes with this triple filter already fitted and 2 replacement filters. The filter should be replaced every 3 or 4 months.
