We got this (P125 Platinum) because we live in a basement flat in central london and there was always so much dust in the air, it was making us cough and sneeze. We've had it a couple of years now, and we definitely seem to be less allergic and the flat seems much less dusty. Looks pretty cool and is small ish so stays out of the way.

This Airfree P125 Platinum purifier works a treat, it stopped my son coughing all night within 48 hours, stopped ME from coughing all day within 48 hours. It is intended to be a stationary item, (ie, not to be moved from place to place), for maximum benefit, but, at this price, you have to buy one & move it around to see what benefits you gain from it, and the benefits are easy to see. If you, or someone in your household, suffers from asthma, and you live in a polluted area (ie. the S.E. of England, among others) this is a MUST HAVE (even if you have to sell the dog to pay it), ask for it as a Christmas present from your Parents/Grandparents/Inlaws ANYONE, but get one!!! I cannot recommend it highly enough, it's fantastic, and i shall be purchasing more (as soon as i can afford it), as, ideally, you'd need one in every room, not all of this size though, they do come in smaller (and cheaper forms).

We suffer from asthma at home and used to live in a city on a busy road right next to traffic lights. The Airfree air sterilizer improved the air quality dramatically and the peak flow measures showed an improvement too. Best of it is the low maintenance: low energy consumption and no filters to clean.

Had my P125 for 2 years, used constantly without trouble. Cleans the air in the whole of my 1 bed flat, the thing I noticed first is the difference in smell of my flat when arriving home, days before the p125 my flat smelt of my pet, cooking and a hard to put a name to it but it just smelt, now it smells of nothing. I no longer have itchy eyes or coughs, which used to annoy me as I had no trouble with this during my day at work. Found out this was down to a mould growth. Fully recommended, even though the price is high
